Stephanie + Markus

Stephanie and Markus' engagement shoot was such a treat. We dreamed up a session on the water with a vintage canoe, and the two of them rowed around the Puget Sound and explored Vashon Island together. The gorgeous garland was made out of eucalyptus, salal, amaranth and roses by the very talented Katherine of Marigold and Mint. Hooray for engagement season, and for these two lovely people who shared theirs with me!

Kimmy + Garrett

Something special happens when a wedding authentically reflects a couple- when you're invited into a space that represents exactly what's important to them. Kimmy and Garrett's fingerprints were all over their day; from the two of them walking down the aisle together, to handpicking their favorite books and using them as the "guest book," to having their honored guests hold lanterns during the ceremony- it was 100% them. Their intimate wedding was held at the Dragonfly Retreat right outside of Seattle, and Kimmy looked like a dream in her Marigold and Mint flower crown. (Thinking of getting myself one of those to wear around the office.) Kimmy and Garrett were a beautiful example of how to make your wedding day an extension of yourself.
